DP World Tour 2026 Final Stage: The decisive challenge
The Final Stage of the Qualifying School is considered one of the toughest and most decisive tests in professional golf. We are proud to host this major competition once again. INFINITUM has been the venue for the DP World Tour Qualifying School Final Stage seven times through 2025.
This competition brought together
156 players, all with the same goal: securing one of the
20 coveted cards granting access to the DP World Tour 2026. The event was packed with excitement, showcasing the players’ technical skill and professionalism on every hole.
This stage is extremely demanding, testing both endurance and precision. Over six days, players faced the challenges of 108 strategic holes, alternating in the first rounds between the Lakes and Hills courses. After the first 72 holes, only the top 60 players and ties advanced to the final two rounds on the Lakes course.
The
winner of this stage was South African Zander Lombard, finishing at -37, a historic score highlighting the exceptionally high competitive level this year. Alongside Lombard, 19 other players earned their cards for one of the most prestigious tournaments on the international calendar: DP World Tour 2026.
The players who secured their Category 18 cards for 2026, in addition to Lombard, are: Connor McKinney, Shubhankar Sharma, Aaron Cockerill, Daniel Rodrigues, Nathan Kimsey, Quentin Debove, Davis Bryant, Benjamin Follett-Smith, Matthew Baldwin, Gregorio de Leo, Andreas Halvorsen, Adri Arnaus, Eddie Pepperell, Jack Yule, Andres German Gallegos, Sadom Kaewkanjana, Frederico Biondi Figueiredo, Hunter Logan and Mike Toorop.
Hills and Lakes: Perfect settings for elite competition
Our
newly renovated Hills and Lakes golf courses did not disappoint. With strategic holes and greens, they proved ideal for hosting an event of this magnitude.
The
Hills golf course, recently renovated in its final stretch, offers a technical and spectacular layout, with an iconic 18th hole surrounded by water, creating a dramatic backdrop for the most decisive moments.
Meanwhile, the
Lakes golf course, also modernized in recent years, presents a
challenging and strategic design, testing players’ consistency and precision with every shot.
Located in the privileged natural setting of the Costa Dorada, the variety of landscapes, high-quality facilities and strategic difficulty of both courses position INFINITUM as the ideal venue for high-level tournaments, such as the DP World Tour 2026. The DP World Tour has confirmed INFINITUM as the
official Final Stage venue through at least 2027.
