What is European Tour Destinations?

European Tour Destinations is an organization that brings together the most prestigious golf resorts across Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean. Its mission is to select the best golf courses in the world and create an international ranking that guarantees golfers a unique, top-level experience.

To be part of this exclusive network, various factors are assessed that reflect the overall excellence of the destination, beyond course design alone. Criteria such as the quality and maintenance of the courses, the ability to host professional competitions, the relationship with the European Tour Group and international recognition within the sector are all analysed. Only resorts that meet the highest sporting and prestige standards are admitted to this select group - and INFINITUM is one of them.

In addition, the overall experience offered by the resort is evaluated: level of service and hospitality, complementary facilities, environmental sustainability, integration with the surrounding area and the destination’s tourist and residential appeal. All of this is aimed at ensuring a coherent, exclusive experience backed by one of the most influential organizations in world golf.

Why is INFINITUM a European Tour Destination?

Following an exhaustive evaluation process, INFINITUM has become the fourth resort in Spain to join this prestigious global network, which is present in 21 countries across three continents. This recognition highlights its 45 championship holes, designed to deliver golf at the highest level and its strong track record with the European Tour Group, having hosted the Final Stage of the DP World Tour Qualifying School on seven occasions.





This is further reinforced by the extension of the agreement for an additional three years, confirming the mutual trust and strength of this collaborative partnership. As Ian Knox, Director of European Tour Destinations, states, “This new phase will enable the unique INFINITUM experience to be promoted within a first-class international network”.

However, this recognition goes beyond the sporting sphere, as it strengthens both the resort’s international prestige and its exclusive high-end residential offering.
